So, it's no secret that I've been hard at work on the final edits of The Soul of the Witch. Still, I take a break every now and then just to decompress so that I can refocus. During one of my breaks, I came across this picture on Pinterest.
In The Soul of the Witch, the story is centered around two young women that are the very best of friends so this picture really spoke to me. I couldn't agree more with what it said because I know that my best friend has always believed in me, even when I'm just flinging poo at the keyboard and hoping for the best.
Looking at this picture though, I got to thinking about the bond between best friends. I know for me it goes deeper than blood. Years and miles have seperated us, but we always find our way back. It's a bond that doesn't really go away when life gets too busy to talk. It just sort of goes on hold until you can get right back to each other.
So to all of those people (all two or three of you) that follow me on Pinterest, I did pin this to my board for The Soul of the Witch. Because yes, it is a story about the bond between best friends...The fact that they can make each other burst into flames if they wanted is completely irrelevant.
