Wow! Every year the Louisville Zoo does their Halloween party better and this year was no exception! My daughter finally made up her mind that she would be the unforgettable Scarlet O'Hara (maybe one day she'll actually watch the movie). The cooler temperatures only added to the festive atmosphere.l After all, it's hard to get in the spirit of Halloween when it's ninety degrees.

Call me crazy, but I love autumn! There is nothing like decorating for the seasons. Perhaps it's the rich colors or cooler weather, but I love it.
This year the Louisville Zoo is again having their huge Halloween Party. For those of you in the area that haven't checked this out, do it before the zoo closes Saturday! This is quickly becoming a tradition for my family. There is a different theme for each area, being cooler some of the animals are more active and really put on a show. I recommend this to everyone with little kids since there is nothing frightening about it. A great Halloween treat. An excellent job by the Louisville Zoo. Just an added note, I will be there Friday (weather permitting) and I have been known to be a candy hog! Getting so excited! Home Decorating for the Real World is almost ready for release! I can't wait. This will be a dream come true.
