She looked up then, revealing a very pretty face that had a shadowed and bruised look around the eyes. My first thought was that if I were ten to fifteen years younger, I would've thought her irresistible. My second thought was that she was too beautiful to be in this place.
Her eyes were shining and slightly hostile as she pushed back her hair.
"Why are you wasting your time with these questions?" She demanded, "It's him you want to know about, isn't it?"
