I'm not one to sit back and do nothing. Even when I'm relaxing, I'm always thinking about my next project. Well, thanks to a very creepy dream, I've got a new idea.
This will be quite a stretch for me as it is completely opposite of what I normally do. So for my next book I will be stepping away from literary fiction and delving into paranormal romance.
Now before everyone starts yelping, I'm in no way talking about anything like Twilight. That is something that I will leave to the teen girls to read again and again. I can honestly say that I've only read a few pages of Twilight and then left it on the store shelf. Not that it isn't well written for what it is, but I prefer Anne Rice and her vampires. I couldn't get past the idea of an immortal attending high school. How bad would that make eternity suck?
No, mine will be more about a restless spirit. What this spirit will do remains to be seen, but after so much serious work with the decorating book and then Ghost Country, I'm ready to just have a little fun with writing and characters. Wish me luck since as of yet I have no title, characters without names, and a very sketchy plot. This may become a story that will never see the light of day.
