Okay, I've finally made a dent in the emails and messages I've gotten over the past two days. I've loved reading how some of you stayed up all night to finish the book and how others have already started reading it for a second time. I've also loved all the questions from readers and boy, did you all have a lot of questions! So since I saw a few of the same questions over and over, I thought I'd just go ahead and make a blog post featuring some Frequently Asked Questions.
I went to the bookstore/Wal-Mart/Target to buy your book and they didn't carry it. Where can I buy The Soul of the Witch?
Welcome to the world of the indie author! Most of your local retail stores refuse to carry paperback copies of my books because of my indie author status, but that's okay. You can order the paperback edition of my book at Amazon.com (Prime members get Free Two Day Shipping) or you can order it for your e-reader from your favorite e book retailer such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Smashwords.
Can I get The Soul of the Witch from my library?
Possibly. I never know if a library has ordered my books or not, but I do know that if your library uses the Overdrive e book catalog, my books are available.
How long will the release price last?
I was going to place the book back at regular price ($4.99) Sunday, but because of a few promotions that won't meet the deadline, I'll be extending it through the first part of August.
When will the audio book version be released?
I'm getting ready to start auditioning narrators for The Soul of the Witch audio book. I hope it will be available by Spring 2015.
Will there be a sequel to The Soul of the Witch?
At the moment, I am not planning a sequel. I've been toying with the idea of possibly a few novellas written from the point of view of the witches from the files, but I haven't decided for certain yet.
Is this a true story or based on real events?
There are certain scenes in the book which are, in fact, based on real events, but for the most part this is a work of fiction.
What's up with that dedication? Are you Devan/Janesa?
The Soul of the Witch is basically a story about two best friends. I dedicated this book to my best friend...I leave you to figure out the rest.
What's next/When is the next book coming out?
Wow! Not sick of me yet? Okay, I have a few ideas that I'm turning over in my brain, but nothing in the works just yet.
